Summary of common errors in the operation of diesel generator

1, Operation of a diesel engine in oil shortage.

At this time because of oil supply shortage caused by the friction pair surface oil supply shortage, lead to abnormal wear or burn. Therefore, before starting the diesel generators and diesel engine running in the process to guarantee sufficient to prevent the engine oil, caused by lack of oil cylinder, tile burning fault.


2, Operation after a cold start not warm machine is working with load.

Cold starting, because the oil viscosity, poor mobility, is machine oil pump oil supply shortage, machine friction surface due to shortage of oil lubrication is bad, cause rapid wear, scuffing, even burning fault. Therefore, after the start of diesel engine cooling should be idle to temperature, oil temperature is above 40 ℃with load operation; the machine start should be hung low gear, and circulated in each gear driving a mileage, normal, until the oil supply sufficient, can turn into normal running.

3, Operation load urgently shutdown or sudden removable load immediately after shutdown.

After flameout of cooling water circulation, cooling capacity decreased dramatically, the heating element causes loss of cooling, cylinder cover, cylinder liner, cylinder and other parts of crack, overheating, or the piston in the cylinder sleeve expansion card. On the other hand, diesel generator without idle cooling, will make the friction surface oil shortage, when the engine will start again due to poor lubrication and aggravate the wear. Therefore, diesel generator should be removed before the flameout and gradually reduce the speed, load, no-load running a few minutes.

4, Operation in the cooling water shortage or cooling water, oil high temperature operating under the condition.

Cooling water shortage will reduce the cooling effect, the diesel engine due to effective cooling and heat; cooling water, oil temperature is too high, can also cause diesel engine overheating. The diesel generator cylinder head, cylinder, piston and valve assembly of heat load, its mechanical properties such as strength, toughness decreased dramatically, making the parts deformation increases, reducing the parts fit clearance between, accelerated wear of machine parts, serious when can crack, mechanical stuck fault. Diesel generators overheating will also worsen the combustion process of diesel engine, the fuel injector malfunction, poor atomization, coke increased.

5, Operation of diesel engine cold start later bombarded the throttle.

If the throttle is pounded, diesel generator speed increases sharply, will cause the machine on some friction surface for the generation of dry friction and severe wear. In addition, banging accelerator piston, connecting rod and a crankshaft to accept force changes, cause severe impact, easily damaged parts.
